Exploring the wonder and apprehension that is generated within the unconscious mind, Beatrice Hammondís work is a celebration of the strange and the macabre.

Inspired by organic beauty and the nature of evolution and decay, her work toys with the concepts of hope, fear and identity, distorting reality to portray the fragile borderlands between waking and dreaming and the infinite possibilities that lie therein.

She studied at the University College Falmouth, graduating in 2008. Since then she has exhibited at Trinity Buoy Wharf in the exhibition fleet and at thedesignweekend, at Tatton Park, May 2009. She is available for art, portraiture and illustration commissions.
